by the 1982 team. The team won two tournaments during the season. Travelling to
Quincy to play in the Quincy Senior Blue Devil Classic, they defeated the host team
2-1 in the tournament final, a win that ended the home team's 40 home game undefeated
streak. Playing closer to home in the Lincoln Way Tournament, going 3-0 in pool
play set up a semi-final against previously undefeated Reavis which the Wolfpack
defeated 1-0. In the tournament final, the Wolfpack defeated highly regarded Sandburg
2-0. The rest of the season saw victories against highly regarded Oak Park-River
Forest (4-1), CCL rivals Br. Rice (2-0), Mt. Carmel (3-2) and Loyola Academy (5-1).

neighborhood rival Whitney Young by a score of 5-0. The season ended with a Regional
Final loss to Hinsdale Central 3-2 in overtime.
