Let me be the first to extend a welcome to the digital world of Saint Ignatius College Prep! I am very excited about our redesigned website and the addition of the SICP App for your smart phone and IPad. We are the first Jesuit high school to take the app plunge and our initial feedback has been very positive. I hope you will find these resources to be informative and inspiring. I especially encourage you to visit our website at www.ignatius.org with some frequency; we consistently strive to showcase our talented students and our beautiful campus with timely photographs.

I have begun my second year here at Saint Ignatius and continue to enjoy this great mission started nearly 150 years ago by Fr. Arnold Damen and the Society of Jesus. Our student body is 1384 strong and come to us from seven counties and two states. We are faithful stewards of the educational mission given by Jesus Christ to His disciples when He told them: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” We are part of the great worldwide network of Jesuit schools reaching back many centuries with a proven course of study.

Here at Saint Ignatius College Prep we strive to cultivate leaders for the Church and the City. I think I have one of the best jobs in Chicago, because I get to tell people about our amazing students and the talented faculty and staff who form this great community and educational project. So whether you are an alum, parent, prospective student, or an old or new friend of the school, I invite you get to know us better.
