The Wolfpack continued their success in 2011. The varsity was 10-2 overall in match
play, 5-2 in the GCAC regular season and won the Willowbrook Invite. The JV golf
team finished up 6-3 on the season. Building on this success, the Pack went on to
win its second consecutive Saint Ignatius IHSA Regional Championship. For the 4th
year in a row, the varsity advanced to the IHSA Sectional where they finished in
a very respectable 6th place. Caitlan Smollen advanced to the IHSA State Finals
in Decatur for her second time and Claire Doyle qualified for the State Finals for
her first time. Seniors Hollis Barth, Devin Kirkley, Sarah Smith, Natalie Rollo
and Liz Darby finished up their Wolfpack careers. Ten members of the team earned
GCAC All-Academic honors and the team was recognized by the IHSA for academic excellence.
