  Wolfpack Open Season in Milwaukee
In the first regatta of the fall 2017 season, the Wolfpack raced in the 3 mile Milwaukee River Challenge on Sat. Sept. 16th.  In the Junior Women's 4+'s, the A boat was 10th and the B boat was 16th out of 20 competitors.  In Junior Women's 8+, the A boat was 16th out of 20 competitors.
09/23/17 Girls Rowing Varsity @ Frogtown Regatta 8:00 AM
  Wolfpack Fight hard at Frogtown
The Wolfpack competed in the Frogtown Regatta this nSaturday. The 1st Varsity 4+ 7th place out of 18 competitors. 2nd Varsity 4+ 13th place out of 16 competitors. 1st Varsity 8+ 8th out of 12 competitors.  The Novice 4+ was 13th place out of 17 competitors. The Novice 8+ was 12th place out of 12 competitors due to equipment breakage during the race.
09/30/17 Girls Rowing Varsity @ Tough Cup 9:00 AM
  Pack Have Strong Showing at Tough Cup
The Pack raced its home town competitors in the Tough Cup on the south branch of the Chicago River where we practice daily.  The Varsity 4+ A boat was first and the B boat was third.  In the Varsity 8+ event we were 3rd.  The novice girls 8+ was first and the novice girls 4+ was first also.  A great day for Saint Ignatius rowing.  Next regatta is the Head of the Rock this weekend.

  Pack Compete at Local Regatta
The Pack competed against our traditional Chicago rivals and teams from the Midwest at the Head of the Rock Regatta in Rockford, IL on Sunday.  The 1st Varsity Girls 4+  came in 7th out of 13. The 2nd Varsity 4+ were 7th in their event.  The 1st Varsity 8+ were 9th.  The Novice Girls 4+ were 9th and the Novice Girls 8+ were 12th.
04/21/18 Girls Rowing Varsity @ Illinois Junior Rowing Invitational 9:00 AM
  Wolfpack Hit the Water
The Pack raced a number of junior rowing teams in the first Illinois Junior Rowing Invitational at Clinton Lake in central Illinois.  The Wolfpack won the girls points trophy.  Under strong winds, the varsity four with coxswain placed first, the JV 4 with coxswain was 2nd, and the varsity 8 was fourth. The novice four with coxswain was second, missing first by 1.2 seconds.  The novice 8 was second.  The next competition will be on April 28th in Ann Arbor, MI  at the Huron Sprints.

  Wolfpack Win Multiple Events in Michigan
The Wolfpack competed in the Huron River Sprints, on Saturday, in Ann Arbor, MI. against 10 schools and clubs from the Midwest.  The varsity pair were first place by 10 seconds.  The Varsity girls 1st 4- won their event by 5 seconds.  The 2nd 4+ did not qualify for the finals. The Junior 8+ did not qualify for the finals. The 1st novice 4+ was second place. The 2nd novice 4+ was second in their event. The novice 8+ was 4th.
05/12/18 Girls Rowing Varsity @ Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championships 9:00 AM
  Pack Bring Home Gold
The Pack competed against 49 schools from the Midwest achieving a gold medal and Midwest Champion for the Varsity 2- (pair).  This qualifies Jordan Schoen and Marie O'Brien-Smart to race in June in the US Rowing Youth Championships on Lake Natoma, CA.  The 1st Varsity 4 with coxswain was fourth, just missing the bronze medal.  They qualified for the Scholastic National Rowing Championships  and will be racing in two weeks in Camden, NJ.  The 2nd Varsity 4+ were 9th overall, missing the finals after striking a submerged log in their lane. The Junior 8+ did not progress from the heats to the semi-finals.  The novice 8+ did not progress to the semi-finals.  The novice 4+ qualified for the semi-finals, but due to weather, their 12th fastest time did not allow them into a Final only of the top 7 times.
