The Wolfpack lost a tough match to OPRF 4-3. Goals were scored by Matt Griffin, Keith Bevans and Aidan Hurst with assists from Jaden Rice and Jared Atuobi. Pack takes on St. Joseph following the Labor Day weekend.

  Wolfpack Slow Down Chargers
The Wolfpack kicked off CCL play with a 6-0 win over St. Joe. Goals were scored by Ryan Fitzpatrick, Keith Bevans, Chris Braman, Danny Fernandez, Matt Griffin and Brock Hurst with assists coming from Aidan Hurst, Keith Bevans and Jared Atuobi. Pack travels to De La Salle on Thursday night and Joliet on Saturday afternoon for a match up with Crystal Lake South.

The Wolfpack defeated De La Salle 3-0 last night to improve to 3-1 (2-0). Goals were scored by Max Hanlon, Matt Griffin and Chris Braman with assists from Keith Bevans and Max Hanlon. Pack takes on Crystal Lake South on Saturday to open play in the PepsiCo Showdown.

The Wolfpack lost a tough match 2-0 to Crystal Lake South to open the 2018 PepsiCo Showdown. Tournament continues Tuesday, Sept 11, Thursday, Sept 13, and Saturday, Sept 15. Pack also takes on St. Rita and Br. Rice this week looking to improve their conference record to 4-0.

  Wolfpack Shut Out Hinsdale Central
Matt Griffin scored twice to lead the Pack to a 2-0 shutout win over Hinsdale Central on Saturday evening. Assists were tallied by Tal Malven and Jaden Rice. Alec Beckwith earned the shutout in goal, his 2nd in as many games. Pack, also, earned the 3 seed in the St. Ignatius 2A sectional. Playoffs begin Tues, October 16th at Ignatius at 6:30 p.m.

  Wolfpack Shut Down Caravan
The Wolfpack defeated Mt. Carmel 1-0 on Thursday evening to improve to 11-4 (7-1) overall. Matt Griffin scored the lone goal, unassisted. Alec Beckwith recorded his 3rd shutout in the last 4 games. Christian Telles, Jack Galante and Ethan Belnap played excellent defense in front of Beckwith. Danny Fernandez, Max Hanlon and Tal Malven stood out as well. With a win over Loyola on Saturday, the Wolfpack will be crowned CCL champs.

  IHSA Sectional Champions!!!
The Wolfpack defeated defending state champs, Solorio, on Friday night to win the 4th sectional title in program history and 2nd since 2013. The Wolfpack got off to a screaming start with a goal from Matt Griffin - assisted by Tal Malven - in the 8th minute. The scoring continued 8 minutes later from Keith Bevans, assisted by Christian Telles. Before the first half ended, the Wolfpack tallied 4 goals - all off of headers - to take a commanding 4-0 lead. The 3rd and 4th goals were tallied by Chris Braman (assisted by Tal Malven) and Matt Griffin, assisted by Keith Bevans. The Pack would add 1 more from Matt Griffin in the 2nd half to seal the victory at 5-2. The team takes on Washington on Tuesday in a 2013 state final rematch at Lewis University in a super-sectional showdown that'll send the winner to the final four!

  IHSA Super-Sectional Champions!!!
The Wolfpack won their 2nd super-sectional title in program history by defeating Washington 2-0 on Tuesday evening. Alec Beckwith came up big in goal, behind the defensive trio of Christian Telles, Jack Galante, and Ethan Belnap, to secure the shutout. Tal Malven and Ryan Fitzpatrick combined marvelously in the midfield, playing excellent defense and transitioning smoothly to attack. In the 2nd half,  Keith Bevans buried the ball in the net for the Wolfpack’s first goal, assisted by Mark Kirby. Mark followed up with a goal of his own with 10 minutes to play to seal the win, assisted by Danny Fernandez. Pack travels to Hoffman Estates on Friday for a 3pm state semi-final showdown with perennial powerhouse Peoria Notre Dame.

  Dukes Stop Pack
The Wolfpack fell 1-0 to a high-pressured York. After an unlucky touch from the defensive third that gave York the only goal in the first half, the team regained their composure for the second half and set the tone for the rest of the game. Unfortunately, time ran out as York held a tight defensive line and the team took it's first loss for the season.

  Penalty Kicks Cost Pack
The Wolfpack fell in penalties after a draw 1-1 over two days due to weather in their opening game of the Lyons tournament. It was a game where it could have gone either way but unfortunately the end result went to Lyons. The Pack still has two games left in the tournament looking to meet positive results.

  Penalty Kicks Go Pack's Way
The Wolfpack played a dominant game against Metea Valley in game two of the Lyons tournament. From the many shots on goal the team took, placing the ball in the back of the net was the missing piece to break the 0-0 result thanks to the opposing goalkeeper always ready on his toes. The game went to penalty kicks again with a different result. A great save from Paul Smith and a finish from each kicker led the Wolfpack to a 4-2 victory.

  Pack Shuts Out GW
The Wolfpack had a shutout against Glenbard West. First goal was scored from E. Gould off a well executed penalty kick. J. Lannon placed a wonderful 40 yard shot at the top corner of the goal to end the game 2-0. The team placed 2nd at the Lyons Tournament by losing to winner Lyons in a penalty shoot out during their first game of the tournament. The Wolfpack final tounament record was 2-1.

The Wolfpack kept pace and intensity all throughout the game to close out a 1-0 victory against Reavis. C. Yonan took a breakaway off the left flank diagonally towards the goal to have a shot placed over the keeper towards the back of the net. With 5 minutes left in the game the ref saw a foul off the opponents corner and called a penalty kick for Reavis. L.Hales saved the kick off his foot towards the center of the goal to secure another shut out in the season.

The Wolfpack mounted a comeback after half to beat Fenwick 2-1 at home. Luke Hogan, Gavin Troy and Dylan Kraft did a great job of controlling the middle of the field which was key to winning the game.

Ignatius beat Mt. Carmel 4-1 at Mt. Carmel. The team played an extremely tough game and battled the whole way. Jacob Klincewicz made several wonderful saves to keep the Wolfpack ahead.

  Wolfpack Tie Young to Open Season
The Wolfpack tied Whitney Young 1-1 in their opener for 2018. Simon Leiderman scored first off an assist from Mike Gladden. Despite excellent midfield ball handling from Tyler Masseur and great defensive help from Jack Lowe, Whitney Young was able to notch a tying goal with 3 minutes left to play in the game. Ryan Fassnacht played well on defense and Edgar Calderon stepped up at attacking mid.

  Huskies Shut Out Pack
The Wolfpack fell to Oak Park River Forest 2-0 on a hot and humid summer evening. The Pack played a much more compact form of defense and kept OPRF out of net until late in the first half. Keeper Andrew Krayer made several important stops to keep the game knotted at 0-0, but eventually OPRF exploited a seam and found the back of the net. The Wolfpack were able to generate a few chances on the opponents goal, but ultimately conceded a second goal late in the second half. Jack Regan stood out both for his defense and his offense. David Lord was helpful in relief as was Nick Williamson.

  Stagg Ties Pack
The Wolfpack came very close to earning their first “W” of the 2018-19 campaign. After falling behind by one goal in the first half, the game was suspended for an hour due to lightning passing through. After the delay, the boys got back to work and Nick Williamson laced a beautiful goal from the right side of the field (off an assist from Mike Gladden) that surprised the keeper. In the second half Jack Regan tapped in the go ahead goal off an assist from Alex Calabrese. Unfortunately, with 30 seconds left in the game, Stagg equalized off a corner kick that fell in the box and was not dealt with effectively. Final score, 2-2. Mateo Cubas had an inspired game at defense; Adam Akan provided valuable minutes in the midfield.

  Wolfpack Grab the "W"
<div>The Wolfpack earned their first “W” of the 2018 season with a 5-2 victory over Riverside-Brookfield. Mike Gladden found the back of the net three times in the first half off assists from Tyler Masseur and Jack Regan and a beautiful solo rocket that snuck through a wall of defenders and surprised the opposing keeper. In the second half, the Wolfpack traded goals with RB, conceding two goals. Thankfully, Billy Thompson answered off an assist from Jack Regan who also scored off free kick to preserve a comfortable lead. </div> <div> <br /> </div>

The Wolfpack improved to 2-2-1 with a hard fought 1-0 win over Notre Dame on Saturday. Mike Gladden headed the ball in off a Jack Regan corner kick for the lone score at the end of the 1st half. The defense fought a physical game led by Billy Thompson. Christian Carr played well at midfield and Simon Leiderman established a presence at striker. Keeper Andrew Krayer thwarted a penalty kick late in the game and earned his first clean sheet of his Wolfpack career.

The Pack improved to 2-0 in Catholic League play with a solid 6-0 victory over St. Laurence tonight. Jack Regan scored the first two goals off assists from Mike Gladden, who, in turn, notched his own goal off a great pass from Jack Lowe. In the second half Tyler Masseur served a beautiful corner kick to Billy Thompson who finished it with a header. Billy turned around and assisted a goal from Dan Jirgal. Tyler also assisted on a final goal from Simon Leiderman. Adam Akan and Colin DelGiudice contributed with meaningful minutes off the bench tonight. Andrew Krayer earned his 2nd clean sheet of the season.

  Pack Stay Undefeated in CCL
The Wolfpack improved to 3-0 in Catholic League play with a 2-0 victory over St. Rita tonight. After numerous chances on goal, with only 20 seconds left in the first half, Dan Jirgal served a ball into the box and Mike Gladden deflected in for the first goal. The offense established more possession in the second half resulting in a Jack Lowe goal, with Jack Regan assisting. David Lord and Mateo Cubas played important roles in keeping the pressure on St. Rita’s defense.

The Wolfpack fell to suburban York on Saturday by a score of 2-1. The Wolfpack came out strong in the first half pressing the Dukes early. Christian Carr scored four minutes into the game off a Jack Regan assist. Unfortunately York answered late in the half to draw even at halftime. York added a second goal midway through the second half. The Wolfpack had difficulty generating offensive opportunities. David Lord and Ryan Fassnacht played noteworthy games.

The Wolfpack dropped a tough one tonight to Catholic League opponents Fenwick, falling 2-0. After pressing the Friars for most of the first half, the score was tied 0-0 at halftime. In the second half, the Pack gave up two goals. Despite continued pressure, the boys never could find the back of the net. Nick Williamson stepped up admirably at forward and Simon Leiderman played an inspired game as well.

  Ramblers Edge Pack
The Wolfpack met Jesuit rivals Loyola tonight and lost a close one by a score of 1-0. The only score was off a penalty kick awarded in the second half. Dan Jirgal played well in his first start in goal. The entire team played an inspired game. Despite several good chances, the Wolfpack could not equalize.

The Wolfpack lost a second straight 1-0 decision on Saturday to Hinsdale Central. After playing to a 0-0 draw in the first half, Hinsdale launched a ball into the box. Keeper Dan Jirgal punched the ball out but the defense could not clear it. Hinsdale returned it to net before he could could cover the near post. The Wolfpack struggled to generate offensive pressure. Tyler Masseur and David Lord played aggressively in the middle of the field.

The Wolfpack lost to Mt. Carmel tonight 4-2 in their final Catholic League game of the season. After Mike Gladden scored in the opening minutes of yet another cross from Jack Regan, the team conceded three goals unanswered. Late in the game, Mike Gladden scored again assisted by Jack Lowe. The Wolfpack finish the 2018 campaign with a Catholic League record of 4-3.

The Pack tied Evanston 0-0 in their final game of the season. Andrew Krayer earned a clean sheet with several excellent saves.  Despite missing two captains, the team played well as a whole matching Evanston's attack defensively and creating several scoring opportunities. The Wolfpack finished the season 7-8-4 overall, 4-3 in Catholic League play.
