  Wolfpack Offense Leads Charge in Opener
The Pack started the season with a 6-0 opening win versus the Maroons of U-High. Ignatius was led by 2018 All-State forward Ella Richards with a strong performance overall while freshman Eloise Barnett recorded her first varsity goal in the opener.

  Pack Comeback to Open GBN Quad
In game one of the Glenbard North Quad, the Wolfpack surrendered an early goal and faced their first deficit of the season. From there , managing the game and creating chances started to become the theme for the rest of the game. Ella Richards recorded two goals, Shay Reifert recorded an assist to secure the win.

  Wolfpack and Loyola Duel to a Tie
In the first GCAC game of the season, the Wolfpack jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage on a goal from Sophomore Ella Richards. After missing on a few chances to go ahead, Loyola tied up the game on a corner kick that deflected off the back of a Wolfpack defender. With chances from both teams in the second half, neither team was able to secure the go ahead goal. Both teams have 1 point in the GCAC division.

  Wolfpack Shut Out Jones
Senior captains Grace Campbell and Shay Reifert scored their first goals of the season in the 2-0 victory over Jones. Sophomore Darcy Schoen recorded the shutout in the net and a solid performance from Junior Maddie Flynn in the victory.

  Wolfpack Defeat Rams
In a 9-0 victory over DePaul Prep, Freshman Eloise Barnett recorded a hat-trick, Shay Reifert added two goals. A combined shutout from Emma Thompson and Darcy Schoen.

  Pack Slow Down Roadrunners
On a breezy Saturday afternoon at Fornelli field the Wolfpack welcomed Nazareth Academy for a non conference match up. After not converting on many chances Ella Richards got the Wolfpack a 1-0 lead and took that lead into the half. The second half proved to be the Wolfpack strongest half of the season. Goals from Ella Richards, Adrian Williams, Hailey Laurenson and Rachael Ryan extended the lead for a 5-1 route of Nazareth.

  Wolfpack Tie New Trier
In a matchup of unbeaten teams, the Wolfpack and the Trevians exchanged chances over and over during the 1st half of play. The Wolfpack had an early chance when Hailey Laurenson slipped behind the backline but was denied by the Trevian goalie. In the second half, huge performances by Rachael Ryan, Maddie Flynn, and Adrian Williams were key in containing a high paced attack. After 80 minutes of play, the teams walked away with 0-0 draw on Fornelli field.

  Pack Push OPRF in Win
The Wolfpack went on the road for a non conference game against OPRF. After missing on numerous chances , Ella Richards started the scoring with a terrific far post shot. After that the Wolfpack scored two more goals to push the halftime lead to 3-0. The final score ended 4-1 in the Wolfpack favor. Ella Richards recorded the hat trick and Hailey Laurenson scored her second goal of the season.  
04/09/19 Girls Soccer Varsity vs St. Charles East 5:00 PM W 0-0-1 8-0-1 8-0-2
  Wolfpack Stay Unbeaten; Stop Ranked St. Charles East
In a non conference match on Fornelli field, St. Charles East traveled to Chicago with a top 10 ranking. Early in the first half, Ella Richards took on multiple defenders to blast a shot over the head of the St. Charles goalie. With an early 1-0 lead, Ignatius and St. Charles were in for a fun night. St. Charles would tie the game on a cross and the score at halftime was 1-1. The second half brought more back and forth action, when freshman Eloise Barnett scored the game winning goal on a great one touch shot. Playing with 10 players for the last 9 minutes of the game, the Wolfpack were able to hold on to the lead. The backline didn’t break with breakout strong showings from Cameron Shutt, Keylan West, Rachael Ryan and Kate Abdo. The Pack are now 8-0-2 on the season.

  Wolfpack Top Providence
The Wolfpack traveled to New Lenox for a GCAC Conference match up. Ella Richards scored twice and Maura Murphy added a goal for the Wolfpack in the win. The game ended in a 3-1 result and puts the Wolfpack at 1-0-1 in the GCAC standings.

  Pack Offense Stops McAuley
After going down 1-0 early in the match, the Wolfpack quickly took the lead with goals from Ella Richards and Adrian Williams. Much of the offense came with great ball movement and forwards creating passing lanes. Ella Richards added 2 more goals and Hailey Laurenson scored 1 to bring the final score to 5-2. Ignatius secured their second GCAC win on the season.

  Pack Win Chicago Cup Opener
In the first match of the 2019 Chicago Cup, six different players got on the score sheet versus back of the yards. Ella Richards led all scorers with two goals. Darcy Schoen has the shutout in goal.

  Wolfpack Top Parker in Round Two of Chicago Cup
The Wolfpack defeated Parker 7-0 in the second group game of the Chicago Cup. Grace Campbell recorded two goals both assisted  by Shay Reifert.

  Young Stuns Wolfpack
The Dolphins of Young stunned the Wolfpack 3-2 in a lightning shortened game. After goals from Hailey Laurenson and Maura Murphy, young responded quickly to tie the game and eventual take the lead. It was the first defeat of the season for the Wolfpack who will advance to the semi finals of the Chicago Cup.

On Senior Night, the Wolfpack capped off their 16th victory of the season with a 2-0 win on Fornelli. Seniors Maura Murphy and Keylan West scored the first half goals. Steady control of the game was handled by Senior Grace Campbell , Rachel Ryan and Emma Thompson. The Wolfpack preparation for Regionals as they are the #2 seed in the Nazareth Sectional.

  Pack Open with Shutout
The Wolfpack began the 2019 campaign with a solid 3-0 defeat of U-High Lab School tonight. Freshman Shannon Rydz scored first off an assist from Isa Oyuela. After a shaky start on defense, the backline solidified behind Lolo Tiemann and Sofie Kowalski. In the second half, the offense woke up after Isa Oyuela fed a ball in the midfield to Molly Pultz who launched a rocket from 30 yards out into the back of the net. Junior Fiona Bartholomew iced the game for the Wolfpack. After hitting the post three times, Fiona finally netted her goal off a header served in by Rose Sullivan, who had an outstanding game at every phase of the game.

The Wolfpack earned a second straight victory with a convincing 5-0 defeat of Glenbard South today. On a sunny Saturday morning, the girls dominated the passing game from the very beginning. Rose Sullivan picked out Fiona Bartholomew for a beautiful through pass, who finished cleanly for the first score of the game. In the second half the team clicked on all cylinders as they rattled off four additional scores. Fiona scored again off an assist from Bella Corral; Kiley DelGiudice scored off an assist from Fiona; freshman Maddie Morrissey scored her first two goals of her high school career, the first assisted by Rose Sullivan, the second solo. The defense played a solid game from start to finish, with freshman Lizzie Naumann making her debut start at outside back.

  Ramblers Edge Pack
The Wolfpack lost a tough back-and-forth battle against Jesuit rivals Loyola Academy by a score of 3-2. The Wolfpack dominated passing play during the first 15 minutes of the game. Sofie Kowalski picked out Fiona Bartholomew through the middle who finished cleanly for the game’s first score. The Ramblers woke up and equalized a few minutes later and the game was tied 1-1 at halftime. The Wolfpack had several chances to score in the second half but failed to convert. Loyola tallied two goals in two minutes on defensive breakdowns. Molly Pultz grabbed one goal back off a free kick with one minute left in the game, but time expired before the Wolfpack could find the tying goal.

The Wolfpack returned to their winning ways with a dominant 4-0 win over Jones College Prep this evening. Mia Cadichon started the scoring by heading the ball into the net off a beautiful corner kick from Molly Pultz. Rose Sullivan scored twice more in the 1st half off solo rebounds. Shannon Rydz added on in the second half assisted by Valeria Fernandez who helped control the middle of field. The entire team played well. Annie O’Niell and Ava Owens played inspired minutes in particular.

  Pack Coast in Win Over Nazareth
The Wolfpack coasted to a 7-0 victory on Saturday versus Nazareth. Fiona Bartholomew scored 4 goals, including a first half hattrick. Rose Sullivan scored a goal and an assist. Valeria Fernandez earned an assist and scored on a penalty kick (tripping). Sofie Kowalski also scored on a penalty kick (handball). Bella Corral earned two assists, as did Marie Gariti. The team dominated possession throughout the game.

  Pack Cool Off Blazers
The Wolfpack improved to 5-1-0 (1-1-0 in GCAC) after a 7-0 defeat of Trinity. The girls scored early and often with goals (assists) scored by: Shannon Rydz (Fiona Bartholomew), two from Fiona Bartholomew (Rose Sullivan and Mary Hughes), Ava Owens (Kathryn Starshak), two from Isa (Annie O’Neill and Ava Owens), and Mia Cadichon (solo). Once again, the Wolfpack moved the ball effectively and created numerous scoring opportunities.

  Wolfpack Edges Out Huskies
The Wolfpack fought hard against OPRF and earned a 1-0 victory this evening. In a physical match from the opening whistle, the girls met pressure with intelligent play. Despite several scoring opportunities for  the home team, the game remained scoreless at halftime. Midway through the second half Mary Hughes crossed the ball and Isa Oyuela cut it off and beat the keeper with a well-placed shot. Shannon Rydz played an outstanding game in the central midfield, supported by the aggressive defense of Kiley DelGiudice and Kate Wollan. Captain Liv Andrews helped anchor the back line and played with poise. The Wolfpack are now 6-1-0.

The Wolfpack improved to 7-1 following a 1-0 victory over Whitney Young. After a shaky start, the midfield settled down and began to connect passes and establish presence. The lone goal was scored in the first half by Fiona Bartholomew off a beatiful corner kick from Molly Pultz. Sophie Maday and Mia Cadichon played aggressively in the midfield, while Mary Hughes provided poise and leadership in the attack.

  Wolfpack Close Out Celtics
The Wolfpack returned to their winning ways with a convincing 6-0 defeat of Providence tonight. Despite numerous chances and a few balls of the post, Fiona Bartholomew scored the only first half goal, assisted by Sofie Kowalski. In the second half, however, the girls continued to press the attack. Additional goals (and assists) were scored by: Valeria Fernandez (Kate Wollan), Fiona Bartholomew (Bella Corral), Annie O’Neill (Shannon Rydz), Kiley DelGiudice (Sophie Maday) and Gabi Collins (Marie Gariti). This was a total team effort, with every player contributing. Special shout outs to Mary Hughes at center back, Mia Cadichon in the midfield and Maddie Morrissey at forward.

The Wolfpack improved to 9-2 with a scrappy 1-0 win over St. Viator on Saturday. Freshman Shannon Rydz scored the game’s only tally one minute into the first half, when she stole the ball from a defender at midfield and took it in for a solo finish on goal. The defense played well under the leadership of juniors Sofie Kowalksi, Liv Andrews and Mary Hughes. Marie Gariti and Salina Barih shared the duty of keeper and kept a clean sheet.

  Wolfpack Defeat Mighty Macs
The Pack improved to 10-2 overall (3-1 in GCAC) after a 7-0 defeat of Mother McAuley. Shannon Rydz scored two goals and two assists. Other goals were earned by: Maddie Morrissey, Marie Gariti and Annie O’Neill. Sophie Maday added two assists, as did Kate Wollan and Molly Pultz who launched a beatiful corner kick headed in by Fiona Bartholomew.

The Wolfpack improved to 11-2 (4-1 in the GCAC) with a 5-3 victory over the Fenwick Friars. Fiona Bartholomew scored 4 goals and assisted on a 5th goal which was scored by Mary Hughes. Assists came from Lolo Tiemann, Shannon Rydz and Kathryn Starshak, who had an outstanding game along with Kiley DelGiudice and Annie O’Neill.

The Wolfpack improved to 12-2 with a convincing 7-0 victory over Back of the Yards. 6 first half goals (and assists) were scored by: Fiona Bartholemew (Molly Pultz), Shannon Rydz (Mary Hughes), Valeria Fernandez (Shannon), Bella Corral (Shannon), Ava Owens (Gabi Collins) and Mia Cadichon (solo). Fiona added a second half goal, assisted by Mary Hughes.

  Wolfpack Defeat Evanston
The Pack improved to 13-2 by defeating Evanston 1-0 in a well fought game. Bella Corral scored the game’s only goal off a pass from Valeria Fernandez in the first half. Juniors Liv Andrews and Sofie Kowalski played outstanding central defense and Salina Barih earned her 10th shutout of the season as goalkeeper.

The Wolfpack returned to their winning ways on Saturday with a 3-0 defeat of Niles North. All goals were scored in the first half. Valeria Fernandez scored first off a defensive take away. Shannon Rydz volleyed a ball into net off a Molly Pultz corner kick. Mary Hughes added a third goal with a looping shot from the midfield that beat the keeper.

  Friars Stop Pack with PKs
After earning a #2 seed and a first round bye in the GCAC, JV Girls Soccer fell to Fenwick in the semi-finals 2-2 (3-0 in PKs). The Wolfpack scored first when Rose Sullivan slotted a ball to Bella Corral. Fenwick tied minutes later. Annie O’Neill put the Wolfpack ahead again off an assist from Valeria Fernandez and the score was 2-1 at halftime. Unfortunately, Fenwick was able to equalize midway through the second half. The Wolfpack had to play down one player after Fiona Bartholomew drew a red card, yet they survived double overtime to push the game to penalty kicks. Fenwick advanced on PKs, 3-0. The JV Girls Soccer Team concluded their season with a record of 14 wins to 5 losses.
