  Wolfpack Cruise to Opening Win
The Wolfpack started the 2018 season on the right foot with a 16-9 win over St. Rita.  The Pack jumped out to a big 1st quarter lead and never looked back.  Conor Shannon and Moises Lopez each had 4 goals, while Bradley Yendro (3 goals), Gus Enger (2 goals) and Luke Hunneke (2 goals) also scored.  Jimmy Howorth had 4 assists and 10 saves in goal.  The Pack host St. Viator on Wednesday.

  Wolfpack Win Home Opener
The Pack defeated St. Viator 8-1 in the their home opener.  Conor Shannon had 4 goals, while Bradley Yendro, Gus Enger, Moises Lopez and Luke Hunneke each had 1 goal each.  Jimmy Howorth had 4 assists and 6 saves in goal.  The Pack will play in the Palatine Tournament this weekend.

  Pack 3rd at Palatine
The Pack finished in 3rd place in the Palatine Tournament over the weekend.  They defeated OPRF and H-F on Friday night, before losing to Loyola and Curie on Saturday.  The Pack are back in action today as they host Loyola in conference play at UIC.

The Wolfpack lost to Loyola 10-4.  A slow start by the Pack allowed the Ramblers to build a commanding lead and not look back.  Gus Enger led the way with 2 goals, while Conor Shannon and Moises Lopez each had 1 goal each.  Jimmy Howorth had 2 assists and 5 saves in goal.  The Pack travel to Fenwick on Wednesday.

  Pack 11th at Fenwick Tournament
The Pack finished in 11th place in the Fenwick Tournament this past weekend with a record of 2-2.  They opened up play with a loss to Stevenson, but rebounded with a win over New Trier.  A tough overtime loss to Curie followed, but the Pack finished the day strong with a come from behind victory over Lincoln-Way East.  Gus Enger, Conor Shannon and Moises Lopez led the attack.  Jimmy Howorth was anchoring the Pack defense.  The Pack travel to Brother Rice on Monday.

The Pack hung on for a 6-4 victory over a scrappy Brother Rice squad.  Bradley Yendro and Luke Hunneke each had 2 goals, while Conor Shannon and Gus Enger each scored once.  Jimmy Howorth had 6 saves and 3 assists in the goal.  The Pack will play in the York tournament this weekend.

The Pack finished in 4th in the Lyons Tournament this past weekend. Ignatius lost to the host Lyons on Friday afternoon before rebounding with wins over York and Whitney Young. Gus Enger, Moises Lopez and Conor Shannon led the attack. Jimmy Howorth anchored the Pack defense. The Wolfpack will have Senior Night against Mt. Carmel this Wednesday at UIC.

The Wolfpack celebrated Senior Night with a 6-5 victory over Mt. Carmel. Seniors Jimmy Howorth, Gus Enger, Conor Shannon, Jacob Conroy, Bradley Yendro, Patrick Dunn and Michael Schiml were honored afterwards for their years of service to the program. The Pack will be hosting the Maroon &amp; Gold tournament at UIC next weekend.<br />

  Wolfpack Comeback to Stop Mustangs
The Pack opened up MCAC tournament play with a come from behind 8-7 win over St. Rita.  The Pack trailed throughout until goals by Conor Shannon and Bradley Yendro gave the Pack the lead late in the 4th quarter.  Michael Schiml and Moises Lopez led the attack with 2 goals each, while Shannon, Yendro, Luke Siwik and Luke Hunneke each had one goal.  Peter Digenen had 6 saves in an emergency start in goal.  The Pack will play Fenwick in the semifinals on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Fenwick.

The Wolfpack finished in 4th place at the MCAC Championships this weekend. The Pack won their quarterfinal matchup against St. Rita but lost to Fenwick and St. Patrick respectively. Congratulations to Gus Enger (1st Team), Moises Lopez (2nd Team) and Jimmy Howorth (2nd Team) who were named to the All-Conference Team.

  Pack Open State Playoffs with Win
The Pack opened up IHSA Sectional play with a 11-6 victory over Mt. Carmel.  Conor Shannon and Nikhil Robinson led the attack while Jimmy Howorth and Luke Siwik anchored the defense.  The Pack will play De La Salle in the sectional semifinals on Friday at UIC.

  IHSA Sectional Champions!!!
The Wolfpack won the IHSA Sectional this weekend!  The Pack opened sectional play with an 11-6 win over Mt. Carmel on Wednesday.  On Friday the Pack defeated De La Salle 11-7 in the semifinals, which set up a championship game against Whitney Young on Saturday.  The game itself was a back and forth affair with neither team able to pull away.  Moises Lopez put the Pack up for good at 8-7 late in the 4th quarter, and a final minute of play ended with the Pack defense standing tall to hold on for the victory.  Lopez led the attack with 3 goals, while Bradley Yendro (2 goals), Gus Enger (1 goal), Conor Shannon (1 goal) and Michael Schiml (1 goal) also scored.  Jimmy Howorth anchored the defense with 12 saves.  The Wolfpack open play in the State Finals with a quarterfinal matchup against Fenwick on Thursday at Stevenson.

The Wolfpack lost to Fenwick in the state quarterfinals 10-5.  Conor Shannon, Bradley Yendro, Luke Hunneke, Michael Schiml and Moises Lopez each scored.  Jimmy Howorth had 8 saves in goal.  The Pack finish their season with an 18-15-1 record and an Elite 8 state finish.  Congratulations to all!

The Pack opened up the 2018 with a 10-8 come from behind win at St. Rita.  The Pack were behind for most of the game before a strong 3rd quarter scoring run gave them the lead for good.  Charles Lewis and Luke Christy each had 3 goals, while Sebastian Caniglia and Nikhil Robinson each had 2 goals.  Denny Paskali and Josh Ortega each had 5 saves in goal.  The Pack will play St. Viator at home on Wednesday.
