IntroductionOur staff endeavors to develop our athletes not only on the court but off the court as well. Student-athletes who participate in volleyball learn self-discipline, perseverance, hard work and a sense of personal and school pride. Developing personal integrity is also a goal of the Saint Ignatius volleyball program.The Team
Saint Ignatius volleyball is a Class 3A program that competes in the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Red Division during the regular season. The Wolfpack compete in 15 regular season matches along with 4 tournaments at the varsity level. The Wolfpack’s strong schedule challenges our players to perform at their highest level both mentally and physically throughout the season.Academic Achievement

The Wolfpack earned another GCAC win in three sets against St Francis 25-19, 23-25, 25-14. Reese Zalewski and Fallon Stevens lead the Wolfpack to victory. Reese Zalewski had 7 Aces and 6 kills, while Fallon Stevens added 5 blocks and 3 kills.Read More -
Wolfpack Win Silver Division at PSHS Invite
The Wolfpack started the PSHS tournament against Oswego East and split sets (12-25, 25-19). Fallon Stevens and Sadie Polk lead the team with 6 kills each, Fallon adds 1 block and 1 ace. Ignatius stayed on track and beat Morris in two sets (25-15, 25-21). Reese Zalewski and McKenna Mueller lead the Wolfpack with 5Aces, 3 kills and 7 kills respectively and finished pool play by splitting sets with Lemont (24-26, 25-15). Reese Zalewski and Fallon Stevens lead the team with 5 kills and 4 kills, respectively. In the silver bracket, the Pack earned a semifinal win against Romeoville (25-15, 25-20). Big contribution from our middles Sadie Polk and Fallon Stevens. Sadie has 4 kills and 2 blocks, Fallon has 4 blocks, 3 kills and 1 Ace. The Wolfpack then faced off against Downers Grove North for silver division championship winning in two sets (25-19, 25-16). Elizabeth Huyler and Lauren Tecson lead the Wolfpack to a Silver Division Championship with their relentless effort and determination to win.Read More -

Wolfpack Go 1-1-2 at Lyons Invite
The Wolfpack had a slow start at the Lyons Invite. The Pack lost to Riverside Brookfield in two sets (25-17, 28-26). Strong performance from Fallon Stevens with 2 blocks, 1 kill and 2 Aces in the first set. Captain Reese Zalewski has a great second set with 3 kills and 2 Aces. Ignatius bounced back and split the sets with Stagg (25-17, 22-25). Sydne Tole and Sophia Alcalá lead the Pack with 7 aces and 5 aces respectively. Next up, was the Lyons Township B team which the Pack dominated (25-13, 25-11). Reese Zalewski leads the pack with 5 aces and 2 kills. Sydney Tole has a big contribution with 4 aces and 2 kills. In their final match of the day, the Pack ran out of energy losing to Lyons Township A team (25-15, 25-21). Elizabeth Huyler and Sadie Polk have a strong defensive game and keep the Wolfpack in the game in the second set with 6 digs and 3 blocks respectively.Read More -

The Wolfpack win their 10th straight game against Providence Catholic (25-8, 25-9) without dropping a set all season. The team played great on defense, with big contributions from Sadie Polk with 2 blocks and Stella Boylan with 5 digs.Read More -

The Wolfpack played at the DePaul Quad and came out victorious. Ignatius played Fenwick and won in two sets (25-17, 27-25), took care of DePaul in two sets (25-10, 25-23) and finished off the day by dominating Wheeling (25-9, 25-6). Great contributions from both the Wolfpack middles, Sadie Polk with 9 kills and 1 block in 3 games and Fallon Stevens had 6 kills 2 Aces and 2 blocks, helped the team go 3-0 on the weekend.Read More -

Pack Win H-F Quad
The Wolfpack played at the Homewood Flossmoor Quad on Saturday morning and went undefeated. Ignatius beat Niles North (25-20, 25-16), St Francis (25-15, 25-8) and Homewood-Flossmoor (25-14, 25-17). The Wolfpack saw contributions from every player but two strong serving performances from Sophia Alcalá and Fallon Stevens as they helped the Pack stay ahead in crucial moments.
