The Wolfpack (151 points) defeated the Deerfield Warriors (37 points) and Lane Tech Champions (150 points) to open the 2024 competition season at Deerfield. The Wolfpack open the meet with second and third-place finish in the 200 medley relay. Sophomore Chayse Massimino, Freshman Greta Mikulaninec, and Sophomore Maeve Shannon placed second through fourth in the 200 freestyle. Junior Colleen Tracy and Sophomore Livia Cremer swept the 200 IM for a 1-2 finish. Junior Angela Wideikis and Senior Madi Manning followed suit and swept the 50 freestyle. Sophomore Caitlin Seder and Junior Alexis Nelson also swept the 1m diving competition. Juniors Franchesca Sanchez and Margaret Hickey split the 100 butterfly for the win and third place. Junior Liepa Niaura won the 100 freestyle. Sophomore Mariposa Arroyo was second in the 500 freestyle with Mikulaninec placing fourth. The Wolfpack was second in the 200 freestyle relay. Niaura and Tracy placed second and third in the 100 backstroke. Cremer and Arroyo followed suit in the 100 breaststroke. The Wolfpack closed the meet with second and fourth place in the 400 freestyle relay.
