Baldwin Places 3rd in the Nation at ISSA Cressy

Avery Baldwin traveled to New Orleans to compete in the ISSA Cressy Singlehanded National Championship this weekend. Saturday, bracing commenced on time under ideal conditions with temperatures in the 80s and winds approximately 10 knots varying occasionally to 15.8 races being sailed as planned. Sunday, racing commenced on time with breeze from the SE at about 7 knots. Four races were completed as planned for a regatta total of twelve races. Avery Baldwin’25 qualified for Singlehanded Nationals after a 2nd place finish in the MISSA district, and placed 3rd in the nation at the first Girls National Championship. Congratulations to Avery!
