Pack Place 3rd at Evanston Invite

The Pack placed third at the 58th Annual Evanston Invitational, marking the Wolfpack highest placing performance of all time. Leading off the meet was team of Sophomore Alistair Guth, Sophomore Carmine Fallara, Senior Aaron Grgurovic, and Senior Jonny Blackman scored 10th in the 200-medley relay. Senior Captain Peter Nolan and Junior Biko Hooper-Haviland placed second and fifth in the 200 freestyle. Senior Captain Charlie Tracy placed double third place in the 200 IM. Freshman Charlie Cali went a personal best and scored twenty-sixth in the 200 IM. Senior Captain Stephen Grud won the 50 freestyle with Blackman scoring fifteenth. Grgurovic and Guth scored seventh and thirteenth in the 100 butterfly. Nolan and Grud grabbed a big 1-2 finish to sweep the 100 freestyle. Tracy and Hooper-Haviland placed third and fifth in the 500 freestyle. The team of Nolan, Grud, Guth, and Tracy won the 200 freestyle relay, narrowly missing the meet record set by Neuqua Valley in 2008. Guth and Blackman placed tenth and nineteenth in the 100 backstroke. The breaststroke duo of Fallara and Junior Rohan Robinson placed twenty-first and seventeenth in the 100 breaststroke, marking in-season best times. The team of Grud, Tracy, Hooper-Haviland, and Nolan won the 400 freestyle relay with the fastest time in the state so far this season.
