Wolfpack Win Steve Allen Invite

The Wolfpack won the Steve Allen Invitational on Saturday at Lockport. Winning 10 out of 12 events, The Wolfpack scored 537 points overall. Freshman Connor Gunderson placed fifth in the 1m diving competition. Senior Peter Nolan and Junior Biko Hooper-Haviland swept the 200 freestyle. Senior Charlie Tracy won the 200 IM. Senior Captain Stephen Grud won the 50 freestyle. Senior Aaron Grgurovic won the 100 butterfly with Sophomore James Guth placing third. Nolan and Grud swept the 100 freestyle. Tracy and Hooper-Haviland swept the 500 freestyle. Guth won the 100 backstroke, just off his in-season best. Sophomore Carmine Fallara and Junior Rohan Robinson swept the 100 breaststroke. The Wolfpack won both the 200 free and medley relays and placed third in the 400 freestyle relay. Other Notable Performances: Senior Jonny Blackman placed 5th in the 50 freestyle and 7th in the 100 backstroke. Senior Connor Burke was 10th in the 100 butterfly and 8th in the 100 backstroke. Senior Owen Brown was 8th in the 100 freestyle. Sophomore Carmine Fallara placed 10th in the 50 freestyle. Freshman Charlie Cali was 10th in the 200 freestyle. Junior Rohan Robinson scored 18th in the 200 IM. Sophomore Will Melby scored 19th in the 200 IM and 18th in the 100 breaststroke.
