Pack Top Romans in Opener

The Wolfpack opened the season with a convincing 8-1 victory over visiting Latin School on Monday afternoon. All 26 boys contributed to the win. Four first half goals (and assists) were scored by: Nick Smith (Paxton Materna), Ian Gomez off a half-volley from Matias Sorrondeguy, Ethan Weekley (Liam Hladik) and and own goal forced by Cole Davis. In the second half George Neusel added two off assists from Nick Smith and Matias Sorrondeguy. Paxton Materna added another from Liam Hladik, who finished the scoring with his own solo goal. Goalkeeper Matthieu Martinez played well with solid defense led by Henry Joves.
