Ignatius traveled to Rockford on Sunday to compete in the Head of the Rock regatta, with teams from all over Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana attending. While the competition was fierce, the Wolfpack were able to post solid results, finishing 5th out of 14 in the Women's Varsity 4+ (Libby McMahon C'25, Mary Schmitz C'25, Eleanora Murer C'25, Lucy Bruns C'25, Sophie Shaughnessy C'26) and 5th out of 13 in the Men's Varsity 4+ (Sally Novy C'25, Fin Duffy C'25, Jack Ennis C'25, Danny Shutler C'27, Teddy Chong C'25). In the Novice 8+ events, the Women's Novice 8+ finished 4th out of 9 (Sophie Anderson C'28, Claire McTaggart C'28, Amelia Power C'28, Kyla Farlander C'28, Lyla Arch C'28, Virginia Dockter C'28, Ayla Winter C'28, Alexa Rodriguez C'28, Abby Marks C'28) and the Men's Novice 8+ finished 4th out of 10 (Sophie Marcus C'28, Joe Senechalle C'28, Albert Flores C'27, Alex Thurston C'28, Andrii Labiak C'28, Xavier Reyes C'27, Andres Pacheco C'28, Jack McKee C'28, George Schmidt C'27). Next up - the Wolfpack sends their Men's and Women's Varsity 4s to Boston, MA this weekend to compete in the largest rowing race in the world, the Head of the Charles. Go Wolfpack!
