Wolfpack Almost Sweep Tri-Angular

The Wolfpack defeated Fenwick Friars (107-64) and the Brother Rice Crusaders (107-11), winning 11 out of 12 events. Senior Captains Peter Nolan and Charlie Tracy swept the 200 freestyle. Junior Biko Hooper-Haviland and Sophomore Alistair Guth followed suit and swept the 200 IM. Senior Captain Stephen Grud teamed up with fellow senior, Jonny Blackman, to split the 50 freestyle for first and third. Senior Aaron Grgurovic along with Guth went first and second in the 100 butterfly. Nolan and Grud scored top 2 in the 100 freestyle. Tracy and Hooper-Haviland routed the field in the 500 free. An in-season best, Hooper-Haviland is now ranked Top 4 500 freestyle performer in Saint Ignatius history. Senior Jonny Blackman won the 100 backstroke with fellow senior Owen Brown scoring fourth. Sophomore Carmine Fallara and Junior Rohan Robinson scored second and third in the 100 breaststroke. Wolfpack relays split first and third in the 200 medley and 200 free relays and won the 400 free relay.
