Wolfpack Bring Home Title at Viking Relays

The Wolfpack won the Viking Relay Invitational at Fremd on Saturday scoring 194 points overall and winning by 14 points over second place Fremd. Sophomore Caitlin Seder and Junior Alexis Nelson placed third overall in the combined scored 1m diving competition. Junior Liepa Niaura, Sophomore Mariposa Arroyo, Junior Franchesca Sanchez, and Freshman Greta Mikulaninec were runner-ups in the 200 medley relay. Junior Colleen Tracy teamed up with Sophomores Livia Cremer and Chayse Massimino to defend their 3x100 medley relay title, winning by over 6 seconds. Senior Madi Manning and Junior Angela Wideikis won the combined 50 freestyle event. Niaura, Arroyo, and Mikulaninec joined Junior Maeve Shannon to win the 200 freestyle relay. Sanchez and Junior Margaret Hickey placed second in the 50 fly combined event. Wideikis, Hickey, Shannon, Sanchez won the 300 butterfly relay. Cremer and Niaura wonthe combined 50 backstroke event. Mikulaninec, Cremer, Massimino, and Tracy won the 300 backstroke relay. Arroyo and Wideikis placed second in the 50 breaststroke combined event. Tracy, Cremer, Wideikis, and Arroyo closed our their last event with a win in the 300 breaststroke relay. Sanchez, Shannon, Manning, and Niaura were second in the 400 freestyle relay.
