On Wednesday, the Wolfpack beat St. Laurence 5-3 on penalties in the IHSA Sectional Semi-Final. Roman Marsh scored for the Wolfpack in the first half, but St. Laurence leveled the game in the second half to send it to extra time. Neither team scored during extra time and the game went to penalties. Goalkeeper Gabe Smith saved St. Laurence’s first penalty before Roman Marsh, Will Hebbeln, Asher Fong, Patrick Rostan, and Gabe Smith each scored their penalties to win the game for the Wolfpack. They play in the sectional final against De la Salle at St. Laurence at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday.
