Pack Place 14th at IHSA State Finals

The Wolfpack finished 14th overall at the 2024 IHSA Girls State Championships. The Wolfpack had a strong showing, highlighted by standout performances from returning athletes and newcomers. Junior Colleen Tracy and Sophomore Livia Cremer both advanced to the state finals in the 200 IM, with Tracy placing 15th and Cremer securing 5th. Livia’s performance propelled her to the #2 all-time performer in Saint Ignatius history. Cremer also competed in the 500 freestyle, where she placed 15th overall. Sophomore Caitlin Seder made history as the Wolfpack’s first-ever state diving finalist, finishing in 6th place. Junior Franchesca Sanchez, competing in her first state finals, earned 10th in the 100 butterfly. The relay team of Sanchez, Niaura, Cremer, and Tracy placed 12th overall in the 400 freestyle relay. The Wolfpack had a strong season, and the team’s performance at state reflects their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to all the athletes on an impressive season!
