GOLDEN JOINS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

We are pleased to announce that Kevin Golden assumed the position of Chief Development Officer on July 22.
He will be a key member of our Leadership Team, working to insure best practices are in place that effectively and efficiently advance the Mission of our school. The CDO plays a critical role in stewarding the extraordinary philanthropic support that we have been blessed to receive over the years. Working in partnership with school President, John Chandler, Kevin will implement a multi-level advancement plan that will include parent, alumni, corporate, foundation, endowment, special events and direct engagement efforts.

Kevin has deep ties to Catholic Education, as a graduate of College of the Holy Cross. He also holds advanced degrees in business and theology from Loyola University. His Father was an alum from the class of 1971. He understands the development needs of a Catholic mission-oriented organization having most recently served at Chicago’s Saint Patrick High School as the Executive Vice-President focusing on development, admissions and finance. Prior to his return to the not-for-profit world, he spent more than a decade as director of major accounts at UNUM US and USI Insurance Services. Kevin is also actively involved in the Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House in Barrington.

School President, John Chandler, said, “I believe that with Kevin’s leadership, we will continue to strengthen and grow our development efforts to support the Mission of Saint Ignatius, especially as we plan for Sodality Hall and Endowment growth goals. He brings to us, not only his professional skills, but most importantly a deep understanding and commitment to our Catholic and Jesuit values, spirituality and identity. He will look forward to meeting you.”
