WOLFPACK FOOTBALL STARTS THIS FRIDAY!

Football kicks off this Friday night, August 30, in a Week 1 contest that features the Wolfpack hosting fellow Jesuit school, the St. Louis University High Jr. Billikens (MO).
The Wolfpack were ranked #24 by the Chicago Sun-Times to start the season, and are coming off an 8-4 season with an IHSA 8A Quarterfinal appearance.  St. Louis University High finished 7-5 last year, and 3rd place in the Metro Catholic Conference (MO).  Next year, the Wolfpack will travel to St. Louis as part of a two-year home/home series with the Jr. Billikens.

Kick off is at 6:00 PM (special start time).  Tickets are available via GoFan at https://gofan.co/event/1650252?schoolId=IL15679.  The game may be viewed via stream by the Wolfpack Media Group at https://vimeo.com/event/4537266.

Additional game reminders are below:
  • Concessions provided by Quest will now have its main tent inside the facility in the southeast corner of Fornelli Field.  The concessions area will no longer be stationed in the parking lot.  In addition, Quest will also now have a secondary concessions area located behind our Wolves Den student section in the west end zone.
  • The main entrance to the facility will continue to be located in the Roosevelt and Blue Island parking lot.  The Northwest Parking Lot will no longer be a secondary admissions entrance for football games.  All fans - students, parents and guests - will enter through the Roosevelt and Blue Island entrance.
  • There will continue to be a bag drop area for our students, in a designated section also located behind the Wolves Den student section in the west end zone.  Students will be required to place their bag(s) in this area until the conclusion of the varsity football game.  This has greatly assisted with creating safe pathways and walkways in both the bleachers and areas around campus.
  • Middle school fans (Grades 5-8) will continue to be required to have a parent/guardian accompany them in order to gain entry into the athletic facility.
  • No pets are permitted on the grounds.
  • The sale, distribution and/or consumption of alcohol is not permitted at Saint Ignatius or IHSA athletic events.
