GIRLS BASKETBALL ADVANCES TO IHSA STATE SERIES
Congratulations to Saint Ignatius College Prep Girls Basketball!
The Wolfpack are headed to the IHSA State Series this week, after defeating Marian Catholic 51-31 and winning the IHSA 3A Super Sectional Championship at Hinsdale South on Monday night. It is the first super sectional championship in program history, and also the first time that the program has advanced to the IHSA State Series. The team will play Washington in the IHSA 3A Semifinal on Thursday at 6:30 PM at Illinois State University's CEFCU Arena.
With approval and gratitude to Dr. Brown and Mr. Chandler, we will have an early dismissal on Thursday, in order to allow our community to travel to Normal, Illinois, to cheer the Wolfpack to victory. Utilizing a Special Schedule, the school will have an early dismissal at 2:10 PM.
