Ramblers Defeat Wolfpack

The Wolfpack faced off against Wilmette rivals, Loyola Academy. Freshman Greta Mikulaninec and Junior Maeve Shannon picked up third and fourth place in the 200 freestyle. Sophomore Livia Cremer won the 200 IM with an in-season best with Junior Colleen Tracy clinching second for big points for the Wolfpack. Junior Angela Widiekis and Senior Madi Manning placed fourth and fifth in the 50 freestyle. Juniors Franchesca Sanchez and Margaret Hickey scored second and fourth place in the 100 butterfly. Juniors Liepa Niaura and Colleen Tracy placed second and third in the 100 freestyle. Cremer picked up a big win in the 500 freestyle by .02 of a second with fellow Sophomore Mariposa Arroyo placing fourth. Niaura and Sanchez picked up a third and fourth place finish in the 100 backstroke. Arroyo closed out the individual events with a runner-up performance in the 100 breaststroke. Wolfpack relays placed second and fourth in all three relays. Saint Ignatius Wolfpack scored 72 points to Loyola Academy Ramblers 114
