Pack Win and Break Two Records at Windy City Showdown

The Wolfpack defeated Jones-Payton Co-op in one of the most exciting dual meets of the season walking away with a win 103-89 and establishing two team records. Medley Relay team of Seniors Charlie Tracy, Stephen Grud, Aaron Grgurovic, and Peter Nolan broke the 200 medley relay school record that was set in 2009. Freshman Charlie Cali and Senior Owen Brown split for a first and third place in the 200 and 500 freestyle. Junior Biko Hooper-Haviland placed second in the 200 IM, breaking 2:00 for the first time. Nolan and Grud went season bests in the 50 freestyle and swept the event. Freshman T’Raji Morris placed third in the 1m diving competition. Tracy, Grgurovic, Grud, and Sophomore Carmine Fallara swept the 100 butterfly with three out of the four establishing new best times. Hooper-Haviland and Senior Jonny Blackman swept in the 100 freestyle. Tracy and Sophomore Alistair Guth placed second and third in the 100 backstroke. Peter Nolan won the 100 breaststroke, establishing a new school record in a final time of 58.24. Relay team of Grud, Tracy, Hooper-Haviland, and Nolan. Varsity faces Fenwick and Brother Rice on Tuesday.
