Garduno Headed to IHSA Sectional

The Wolfpack took part in the IHSA Regional at Chicago Rickover Naval. GG Garduno placed 2nd at the 145 lbs. weight class losing in the finals to #1 ranked wrestler out of Phoenix Academy 8-0. After a bye her first round, Garduno defeated her opponent from Crane with a pin in 1:08. In round three, GG pinned her Currie opponent in a quick :58 seconds to enter the championship. This is the second straight season the sophomore has moved on the IHSA Sectional!
