The Wolfpack (4-1 overall; 1-0 GCAC) defeated the Redhawks of Marist 3-0 in the semi-final of the Soccer2000 Bracket in the Windy City Classic. After a scoreless battle for the first half, the Pack finally broke the game wide open in the second half with a flawless free kick from Lili Garcia into the upper 90, beating an outstretched Marist keeper for the first goal of the game. Lauren Reed followed up with two more while the Wolfpack back line and keeper MC Galante held the Redhawks at bay for a shutout. The Wolfpack will move on to take on Lockport Thursday on Fornelli Field at 6:30 p.m. in the championship.
