The Saint Ignatius Boys Basketball program has a rich and storied tradition of excellence on the floor, including twenty Chicago Catholic League Championships, nine IHSA Regional Championships, two IHSA Sectional Championships, a 3rd Place finish in 2022, multiple regular season tournament championships, and over a dozen 20+ win seasons.

The Saint Ignatius basketball program has been synonymous with on court success for almost a century. Our true success as a program, however, is not only measured by wins, losses, and championships. The Wolfpack basketball program is much bigger than basketball. We strive to make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of everyone we come into contact with. Emphasizing values such as faith, love, service, teamwork, integrity, discipline, and commitment have helped us inspire our student-athletes to truly be "men for others" both on and off the court. Our mission is to coach, teach, and inspire our student-athletes so they can earn and experience success in every phase of their lives.

Saint Ignatius boys basketball is an IHSA Class 3A program that competes in the competitive Chicago Catholic League Blue Division. The Wolfpack play a very strong non-conference schedule that includes participating in the Loyola/New Trier Thanksgiving Tournament and the Jack Tosh Holiday Tournament at York High School.
