Saint Ignatius Track & Field is a class 3A program that competes in the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference (GCAC). The track season begins in late January and runs through May. The team competes in both indoor (late January;March) and outdoor (April;May) contests. Meets can vary from two-team dual competitions to 25+ team invitationals. Wolfpack Track & Field is a no-cut sport. If an athlete is willing and able to commit fully to the program, give her best effort daily, and bring a positive attitude to the team, she is welcome to join.

The Pack won all 11 running events and the High Jump to earn the GCAC Championships title. Lucy Nash won the High Jump ahead of teammate Angela Panoff. Sophie O'Connell (3rd) and Mia Lucente (6th) placed in the Shot Put. Lucente (3rd) and Sadie McGuire (4th) added 11 points in the Discus. Nash (2nd) and Maridol Escuadro (3rd) outscored every team in the Triple Jump. Lisa Hardman finished second in the Long Jump and Claire Mangan added a fourth-place effort. The relays led the way with four Red Division victories - 4x800 Nola Weintraub, Allison Leonard, Pilar Curran, Lucy Lippert; 4x100 Hardman, Eleanor Cleary, Meredith Lannon, Kennedy Drayton; 4x200 Richelle Asamoah, Emme Alexander, Cecilia Kaskie, Rhys Nelligan ; 4x400 Owusua Peprah, Chloe Richards, Rhys Nelligan, Kaskie. Individual event winners for the Wolfpack were - Jackie Goodwin (100 Hurdles), Hardman (100), Leonard (800), Weintraub (400), Maeve Houlihan (300 Hurdles), Mary O'Reilly (1600) and Tylar Mayberry (200). The following were runner-up finishers - Eleanor Cleary (100), O'Reilly (800), Richards (400), Megan McClain (1600) and Delia Bergin (200).
The Wolfpack finished 4th of 16 teams at the Lake Park Invite. Events winners were Pilar Curran (800), Maya Williams (3200) and the 4x800 relay (Yesenia Maley, Isabella Soriano, Ariana Zamora, Lucy Lippert). Other top-three finishers were Delia Bergin (2nd, High Jump), Mary Kate Brady (2nd, 1600), Maeve Houlihan (3rd, 300 Hurdles), and the third-place 4x400 relay team of Owusua Peprah, Rhys Nelligan, Natalia Diaz and Tori Adams.
The Wolfpack won the 11-team Schaumburg Invite. Event winners were Lisa Hardman (Long Jump, Triple Jump), Delia Bergin (High Jump), Gabriella Duque (800), Nola Weintraub (1600) and Megan Winters (100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles). Other top-three finishes were achieved by Bergin (Long Jump), Hardman (100), Mary Kate Brady (1600), Elizabeth Schmiedeler (3200), Pilar Curran (300 Hurdles), the 4x400 Relay (Duque, Brady, Winters, Curran) and the 4x800 Relay (Curran, Ariana Zamora, Lucy Lippert, Julieta Mayorga).
The Wolfpack won the eight-team Mark Medland Invite at Niles West with 12 event winners and six runner-up performances. Chika Ezike (100, 200), Olivia Saldana (400), Elle Sheaffer (800), Allison Leonard (1600), Maya Williams (3200), Megan Winters (100 Hurdles), the 4x400 Relay (Sheaffer, Rhys Nelligan, Gabby O'Brien, Leonard), the 4x800 Relay (Camilla Martinez, Yesenia Maley, Elizabeth Schmiedeler, Ella Abraham), Delia Bergin (High Jump) and Maeve Houlihan (Long Jump, Triple Jump) earned gold medals.
The Wolfpack won the 15-team indoor GCAC Conference Championship on Sunday. The Pack was led by event winners Camilla Martinez (800), Mary O'Reilly (1600), Lucy Nash (High Jump) and the 4x800 Relay team of Maeve Gawne, Mary Kate Brady, Other top-three finishers were Sofia Diericx (60), Jane Mangan (400 and Long Jump), Pilar Curran (800), Megan McClain (1600), Megan Winters (60 Hurdles), Delia Bergin (High Jump), Maeve Houlihan (Triple Jump) and the 4x200 Relay team of Lisa Hardman, Tylar Mayberry, Meredith Lannon and Cecilia Kaskie.
The Pack won 10 of 15 events at the Morton West Invite to bring home the team championship. Event winners were Chika Ezike, Jane Mangan, Delia Bergin, Mary Kate Brady, Elizabeth Schmiedeler, Lisa Hardman, Ceceila Kaskie, Meredith Lannon, Megan Winters, Isabella Soriano and Maya Williams.
The Wolfpack placed 2nd at the Maine East Invite. Ignatius was led by, event winners Kennedy Drayton (50), Olivia Saldana (400), the 4x160 Relay team (Drayton, Dahlia Medero, Rhys Nelligan, Fredina Amoh) and Angela Panoff (High Jump).
The Wolfpack competed well at Niles West. Narianna Briggs, Lucy Lippert, Mary Kate Brady, Elizabeth Schmiedeler, Pilar Curran, Lisa Hardman and Lucy Nash proved that hard work will result in strong performances.
The Wolfpack competed in the OPRF Invite on Friday night. Claire Mangan led the team by winning the triple jump and also had a strong performance in the long jump. Delia Bergin and Rhys Nelligan the way in the 300 meters and Isabella Soriano earned a big PR in the 800 meters.
