After beginning as an assistant coach in 2019, Daniel Lee took charge of the Saint Ignatius College Prep Boys and Girls Tennis teams. During his tenure, he’s helped numerous singles and doubles players qualify for the IHSA State Finals. The girls won an IHSA Sectional title, and the boys clinched a CCL Championship. Coach Lee also led the boys doubles team to a fifth place finish at the IHSA State Finals in 2023.

Three of the Pack Headed to IHSA State Finals
The Wolfpack qualified three individuals for the IHSA State Finals that past Saturday. At the IHSA Sectional, Ignatius was led by singles player Kate Gibble who took 4th, and the doubles pair of Gabby Cilella and Sadie Sue Ross who placed 3rd beating Hinsdale Central 6-2, 6-0 to qualify for Thursday's IHSA State Finals. The Wolfpack had a tough battle at the GCAC Championships placing 3rd overall as a team. The Pack scored 26 total points and was led by 1st Singles - Kate Gibble 2nd place; 2nd Singles - Nadia Millar 3rd place; 1st Doubles - Gabby Cilella & Sadie Sue Ross - 3rd place; 2nd Doubles - Ally Stelmach & Anna Stuart - 2nd place and 3rd Doubles - Addyson Wiedelman & Jaiden Cooke - 4th place.Read More -

Fenwick Defeats Wolfpack
Ignatius lost to the Friars of Fenwick 4-1. The Wolfpack was missing one-half of its 1st doubles team, which required a last minute adjustment to the lineup. A first time pairing of Ally Stelmach and Sadie Sue Ross was able to pull off an impressive lone win of 6-1, 1-6, 10-7 at the 1 Doubles position.Read More -
Pack Take Part In Inaugural BG-32 Invite
The Wolfpack faced some tough competition at the inaugural Buffalo Grove-32 Invitational. Leading Ignatius was 1st Singles player Kate Gibble was the consolation champion with two impressive wins on Saturday 6-4, 6-0 and 6-3, 6-0. 2nd Singles Nadia Millar was a semi-finalist in the consolation draw. The 1st doubles pair of Gabriela Cilealla and Sadie-Sue Ross qualified for the championship bracket by winning their first match and had a strong showing against very good teams. The 2nd doubles pair of Ally Stelmach and Anna Stuart adjusted well after a slow start to win a tight 3 set match in their 2nd match, but fell to the eventual consolation draw champions.Read More -

The Wolfpack remained undefeated in GCAC matches with a 4-1 win over Providence. Junior pair of Addyson Wiedelman and Jaiden Cooke had a dominating win, without dropping a game, 8-0 as they are undefeated in all matches so far this season with a record of 7-0.Read More -

The Wolfpack participated in the Fremd invite which was changed to a quad last minute. The Wolfpack came out 1 and 1 with the score of 4-6 against Fremd and 3-0 against Southland College Prep.
