    The Wolfpack softball program competes in the GCAC Red Division in class 4A and focuses on developing the fundamentals of the game. The program runs from the beginning of February through the end of June and has three levels, Freshmen, JV and Varsity.

    Allison Heraty has guided the Saint Ignatius College Prep Softball Program since the 2012-13 season. During her tenure, her teams have won three GCAC White Championships, four IHSA regionals, two IHSA sectional championships, and two IHSA Super Sectionals. The team placed fourth at state in the 2014 season and finished as the IHSA State Runner-Up in 2022.  Heraty received “ICA Sectional Coach of the Year” honors in 2014 and 2021.

    Coach Heraty has proudly watched former players compete at the collegiate level and succeed in the coaching ranks. Outside of coaching, Heraty teaches middle school physical education.
