IntroductionOur staff endeavors to develop our athletes not only on the court but off the court as well. Student-athletes who participate in volleyball learn self-discipline, perseverance, hard work and a sense of personal and school pride. Developing personal integrity is also a goal of the Saint Ignatius volleyball program.The Team
Saint Ignatius volleyball is a Class 3A program that competes in the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Red Division during the regular season. The Wolfpack compete in 15 regular season matches along with 4 tournaments at the varsity level. The Wolfpack’s strong schedule challenges our players to perform at their highest level both mentally and physically throughout the season.Academic Achievement

Wolfpack Place 3rd at GCAC Championships
The Wolfpack finished third in the GCAC Championships at De La Salle this past Saturday. The Wolfpack defeated St. Francis 25-16, 25-23 to advance to the semifinals. The Wolfpack lost to conference champs Mother McAuley in two sets 25-23, 25-20. Rounding out the tournament, Ignatius defeated St. Lawrence 25-22, 26-24 to claim 3rd place. Wolfpack Run Past Huskies
The Wolfpack defeated Oak Park River Forest for the last home game of the season, winning in three sets 24-26, 25-22, 25-16. Libero Stella Cashion led the back row with 10 digs and strong serve receive. Outside hitter Eva Alvarez had 8 kills and Middle Blocker Fiona Dollear had 7 kills. The Pack traveled to Nazareth to play against the Roadrunners in a close match winning 25-21, 29-27. Middle blocker Georgina Ellett led the team with a season-high ten kills. The Wolfpack beat St. Laurence in a home game on Thursday in two sets, 25-22 and 25-16. Libero Stella Cashion helped the team come back from an 11-14 deficit in the first set by serving ten in a row, including three aces. Offense was strong and outside hitter Eva Alvarez had four kills. Wolfpack Take 2nd at Spartan Invite
The Wolfpack took second place in the Marian Catholic Invite on Saturday, October 12. The Wolfpack won three matches to bring them to the championship game, beating Homewood-Flossmoor (25-14, 25-6), Reavis (25-9, 25-9), and Oak Lawn (25-9, 25-5). The team was defeated by Benet Academy in a hard-fought championship game for the tournament title, losing in three sets 25-20, 17-25, 12-15. Middle blocker Fiona Dollear led the team at the service line with 15 aces throughout the day. Right Side hitter Karissa D'Cunha had 15 kills throughout the tournament. The Pack lost to Mother McAuley in three nail biting sets on Tuesday night on the road. Ignatius won the first set 25-22 but the Mighty Macs stormed back to take the match with a game two 25-20 and 25-15 win. Pack Go 3-2 at Warren Invite
The Pack participated in the Warren Invite this past weekend going 3-2 overall to take second place of the silver bracket. The Pack went 2-1 in pool play with a 25-13, 25-12 win over Lake Forest, a close loss to Carmel Catholic 25-23, 25-23 and three game win over Loyola 15-25, 25-22, 15-12. On Saturday, the Pack defeated Palatine 25-23, 25-19 to make the finals of the silver bracket before falling to Loyola in three 22-25, 25-17, 12-15.
