Saint Ignatius cheerleaders pride themselves on hard work, dedication and spirit. A proper mindset is applied that encourages members to focus, learn quickly, practice efficiently and peak at the right time. Not only have they developed together as athletes, they have grown together as a family. It is with great hope that these young athletes will carry their entire learning experience into adulthood.

Coach Francine Dilay brings more than a decade of IHSA coaching experience to Saint Ignatius College Prep. Prior to her time with the Wolfpack, and during the 2021-2022 season, Coach Dilay served as the interim Head Coach/Assistant Coach for Northwestern University. She’s also led other high school teams to competitive success.

Coach Dilay cheered throughout college and knew she wanted to share her passion for the sport as a coach. She is proud to have coached nine athletes who have gone on to cheer in college, and she’s honored to be a part of the coaching staff at Saint Ignatius.
