Athletic Camps - Rising 5th-12th Grades

Registration for Summer 2025 will open in February 2025.

Join the Wolfpack for an exciting summer of sports camps in the heart of Chicago! 

Whether your student-athlete is just learning a sport or is an experienced player, our camps allow for differentiated skills training and scrimmage experience led by current Ignatius coaches.  Wolfpack players also assist in the camps so your student has the opportunity to be play alongside role model high school athletes.  Do not wait - sign up for Athletic Camps with the Wolfpack now!

  • Boys Baseball Camp

    Head baseball coach Joel Southern will direct the camp and will be assisted by staff and members of the Wolfpack Varsity Baseball Team. Players will work on all of the fundamentals of baseball and must bring their own glove, spikes (no metal spikes), and water bottle.

  • Boys Basketball Camp

    Head coach Matt Monroe brings his success on the court and extensive experience running youth skill development clinics to the Wolfpack Boys Basketball Camp. Fundamentals in passing, shooting and defense will be stressed by the dedicated staff of Saint Ignatius coaches and varsity players. There will be at least one coach and two players on the court at all times for individual and group instruction.

  • Boys Lacrosse Camp

    Come experience the fastest game on two feet with the Saint Ignatius coaching staff. Learn the techniques involved in playing a truly American sport from experienced high school coaches. This week long camp will focus on both fundamental skills and team play with an emphasis on learning, improvement, and enjoyment. There is no experience necessary and we take all levels of play.

  • Boys Soccer Camp

    The Wolfpack Boys Soccer program invites your son to showcase their talents in an exciting and fun-filled four days of soccer training. The camp will focus on developing each player’s technical skills, tactical awareness and physical fitness. Sessions include motor skills development, including ball control, passing, possession and shooting as well as the opportunity for advanced Goalkeeper training. Head Varsity Coach - Matt Miller - and his coaching staff will be conducting the camp with the assistance of our senior and/or alumni players of the program. This camp provides a great opportunity to meet the coaching staff and experience first-hand the winning tradition of Wolfpack Soccer.

  • Boys Volleyball Camp

    Saint Ignatius invites your son to attend the Wolfpack Boys Volleyball Clinic run by Head Coach Todd Strobel. Campers of all ability levels are welcome to enjoy this unique experience. The camp will concentrate on passing, setting, hitting, and serving.

  • Co-Ed Advanced Cross Country Camp

    This Co-Ed Cross Country Camp is for advanced runners--but also for less experienced runners who are ready to begin training every day to prepare for the fall cross country season ahead. Instruction and supervision will be overseen by the Saint Ignatius Cross Country coaching staff. Camp will start each day at the Saint Ignatius track and most runs will take place on the beautiful lakefront path. Training will be personalized to the abilities of each athlete and include a variety of modalities. Endurance training, speed work, and tempo runs will all be emphasized. Additionally, campers will receive instruction on nutrition, stretching, and general health. We will work hard but also have a lot of fun! All athletes will receive a camp shirt.

  • Co-Ed Cross Country Camp

    This co-ed cross country camp is designed to help new runners and experienced runners reach their fitness goals. The camp will focus on proper running mechanics through drills, techniques and video analysis. Campers will also learn about the physiology of training and exercise, nutrition, and racing psychology and tactics. The Wolfpack staff will coach throughout the two weeks.

  • Co-Ed Dance Camp

    Saint Ignatius Dance Teams Head Coach Katie Wiencek and staff will lead a week long, co-ed Dance and Spirit camp for 5th through 9th graders.  This camp will focus on important aspects of being a Saint Ignatius College Prep Dancer and Campus Spirit Leader including: learning the school fight song, game day sideline routines, basic dance team skills and a Football halftime routine.  Each day, one lucky camper will earn the SICP Spirit Stick.  All dancers will be invited to return for an on-field halftime performance during a Saint Ignatius Varsity Football game during the next season (date TBD).  There will be a friends and family showcase on the last day of camp, too!

  • Co-Ed Strength & Conditioning Camp

    Saint Ignatius Coaches will direct one-week camps for 5th through 9th graders looking to improve their speed, strength, balance, agility, and overall performance.  Designed for athletes of all levels across all sports, campers will learn a variety of ways to safely train and build power.

    Where: Walsh Activity Center (2nd Floor Gym & Weight Room)

  • Co-Ed Track & Field Camp

    The Wolfpack Track & Field Staff invites your son or daughter to participate in Track & Field Camp this summer. The camp is designed to help both new and experienced track athletes develop their skills in the running, hurdling, throwing, and jumping events. Campers will also learn proper running mechanics through daily drills and repetition.

    Where: Track - Track location will be communicated by Coaches

  • Co-Ed Wrestling Camp

    This camp will involve a unique blend of technical instruction, live wrestling and review sessions. Our camps are designed for any level of wrestler. Our youth camp (5th-8th) is specifically designed for wrestlers with no experience while being tailored to going over the basics of wrestling. The Wolfpack Coaching staff will be leading this camp. Please bring wrestling shoes and headgear.

  • Football Camp

    Saint Ignatius Football Camp is an opportunity for young people to gain a solid foundation of the fundamentals of football. Participants will learn discipline, commitment, communication, respect, trust, leadership, responsibility and work ethic as they develop their football skills. This is a teaching camp: fundamentals, skills, and techniques needed to be a successful football player will be provided. Instruction in these settings will focus on offensive, defensive and special team areas. Conditioning, stretching, agility, speed, and other areas will be addressed as well.   • Girls Basketball Camp

    The Wolfpack Girls Basketball Camp will focus on fundamentals and offer in-depth instruction on passing, shooting, defense and team strategy. Campers will be grouped by skill level to maximize their camp experience. Individual competitions and team games will highlight skills taught throughout the week. The Wolfpack staff, as well as current and former Wolfpack players, will coach throughout the week.

  • Girls Field Hockey Camp

    This camp is open to all girls interested in field hockey from the beginning players to the more advanced group. The week will include offensive and defensive drills, competitions, and scrimmages. Players will work with the Saint Ignatius coaching staff, learning from coaches that have played at the collegiate level. Participants should bring running shoes or cleats, fitted mouth guard, hockey stick and shin guards to camp.

  • Girls Lacrosse Camp

    Come learn the fast paced and exciting game of lacrosse from experienced head coach Audra Kielbowicz. Camp is open to all skill levels and no prior experience is needed. Girls will be split in groups according to skill level as the camp will focus on basic skills, position play, team concepts, and overall competition and enjoyment. Equipment needed: Lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard and cleats.

  • Girls Soccer Camp

    This camp is designed to give prospective student-athletes an inside peek into the lifestyle and culture of the Girls Soccer Program at Saint Ignatius. Camp is designed to focus on player development in four key areas: technical, tactical, physical, and psychological. Our program values each aspect as critical in building strong players, teammates, and people. Camp is coached by the varsity coaching staff, as well as current players, giving campers time and opportunity to meet and work with leaders of the program and experience Wolfpack coaching and playing firsthand.

  • Girls Softball Camp

    The Wolfpack Softball Program welcomes athletes to join our 2022 IHSA State Runner Up Coaching Staff, varsity athletes and alumni to develop their softball skills. Campers will participate in a variety of activities to learn the game, sharpen their skills and elevate their play to the next level.  The staff brings our experience to teach fundamentals and then reinforce them through drills and repetition with athletes.  Each day, camp will focus on developing all aspects of the game including defensive technique, offensive approach, and baserunning.  No experience needed.  For players in 4th grade through 9th grade.

  • Girls Volleyball Camp
